After years of experimenting with air fryer recipes, I noticed there was no simple tool to quickly convert oven recipes. That was the inspiration for Airfryer Switch. I'm John, a web developer and daily user of both the oven and the air fryer. The conversion formulas are based on how an air fryer works compared to a conventional oven and give reliable results for most dishes.

Why this tool

Many people now have an air fryer at home, but most recipes are still written for a conventional oven. Converting manually takes time and leads to guesswork. Airfryer Switch solves that with a simple formula that works reliably for most dishes.

The formulas are based on the common rules of thumb from the cooking world: the temperature goes down 20°C and cooking time is reduced by 22% when converting to the air fryer. The tool also works in reverse: convert air fryer settings to oven settings, handy when adapting a recipe for guests or a larger dish.
